Our optional extras for Comprehensive Car Insurance
Choose from three optional extras:
Windscreen and Window Glass Only
Our Windscreen and Window Glass Only cover provides you with cover for when the only loss or damage to your car is to the windscreen or window glass, including the sun roof. And you won't have to pay an excess if you claim under this optional extra!
You can make multiple claims a year if needed, and you'll have peace of mind knowing repairs we authorise are guaranteed for life.

Keep Mobile Cover
With our Keep Mobile cover you'll get Hire Car and copycat cover. Bingle will provide you with a hire car in the event of an incident for as long as it takes us to settle your claim – regardless of whether you're at fault or not.
Under copycat cover you'll have the same insurance cover (limited to the market value) which you normally hold for the car you're driving while your car is unavailable (e.g. a hire car, your mum's car etc.) Your listed drivers will also be considered listed drivers when driving that car too.

New for Old Cover
Is your car 3 years old or less? You can choose to take up New for Old.
Cars depreciate over time, as soon as you leave the dealer. So, if there's an incident, the cost of replacing it could be more than what it's insured for.
If you have New for Old cover and your car is determined by us to be a write-off, we will replace it with a brand new car of the same make and model (where available).

It's easy to add optional extras to your policy:
- Add optional extras as you get a quote online for a new Comprehensive Car Insurance policy.
- Add optional extras in self-service to an existing Comprehensive Car Insurance policy.
- Just note to take up our New for Old cover, your car must be 3 years of age or less.
What else do I need to know about optional extras?
- Of course, you'll need to have the optional extra/s on your policy before any incident takes place. So, you can't add an optional extra after an event and have it cover you for that same event.
- You can only remove optional extras at renewal time.
