Third Party Car Insurance covers liability caused by accidental damage to someone else’s car or property caused by the use of your car.
Our highest level of cover includes accidental loss or damage to your car and liability for accidental damage to someone else’s car or property caused by the use of yours.

Third Party Insurance only covers damage caused by your car to someone else’s car or property. Your car is not covered.

There are three main types of car insurance: Comprehensive Car Insurance, Third Party Car Insurance and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance – also known as greenslip insurance in NSW.

Market value means the amount that the market would pay for the car. It includes many factors such as your car's:

Market value excludes costs of rego, Compulsory Third Party insurance and any stamp duty, transfer fees, dealer warranty costs and dealer delivery.

Learner – L-plate – drivers
Bingle covers learner drivers – those on their Ls or L plates. Learner drivers don’t need to be listed on the policy. You just need to have a listed driver in the car while the learner is driving. Having a listed driver in the car will avoid the unlisted driver excess.
